Article Abstract:

The capabilities of zeolities-associated spiropyrams for promoting electron-transfer reactions, the electocatalytic effect of 6-nito-1',3',3'-trimethylspiro[2H-1-benzopyran-2,2'-indoline] (SP) , , and on the oxidation of N,N,N',N'-tetranethylbvenzinidine (TMB) is explored. Upon irradiation, shows a remarkable site-selective electrocatalytic effect on the oxidation of N,N,N',N'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) in Et4NCIO4 and LiC1O4.

The photophysical and photochemical behavior of a dumbell-shaped multicomponent system hosted inside the mesopores of A1/MCM-41 aluminosilicate is presented. The photochemical behavior of 2(super 6+) hosted in A1/MCM-41 differs from that in acetonitrile solution.
